A beacon of light declutters the messiness in my heart

That had been strewn with toxicity although it had no part

Didn’t realize the darkness that can envelope my life

Leave me with negativity, meanness, and total strife

Now, just a flicker here and there, everlasting for the new her and him

A true joy that exudes from deep inside within

An ounce of this warmth knows no leaps or bounds

To what it gives weight to, like the most beautiful song

A lightness so airy, yet full of substance in all ways

Kindness so meaningful, its love for always
